“The Pannas Dolls”

For thousands of years, dolls have been regarded as amulets due to their archetypal symbol of female intuition. For years this force that dwells within us has been repressed and, over time, we often end up discrediting or ignoring it completely.

However, when we allow ourselves to listen, magical things can happen! To me, it suggested creating - through the energy of manual making - rag dolls, expressing all my gratitude for so many admirable women, known or anonymous, who came before us. And yet, for those who are here today and will continue to inspire us daily.

The Pannas Dolls are hand made in 100% cotton fabric. Each doll is hand dyed and their features also hand painted in my own signature style. Clothes are sewn according to the pictures provided by the client and availability of fabrics. There are also 3 doll sizes to chose from.
